El Sequer is a typical 19th century Mediterranean farmhouse called a "riu-rau" that was formerly used for drying grapes to produce raisins. Today, it is a charming, self-catering rural cottage, half-hidden amongst orange groves occupying 600m2, on the outskirts of the village of Benimeli.
Tastefully decorated in a traditional rustic style with modern touches, this home has been faithfully restored, conserving the original structure and using local materials such as terracotta, bamboo cane ceilings, wooden beams and stonework. |
